Joining a group

Ways to join

• Group link: tap the link your Manager shares (it looks like …/j/tnf-8k2q).
• Group code: on the welcome screen tap I have an invite. If you're signed in, use Join a group (or tap your group name on Home, then + Join or create a group). Paste the link or type the code, then tap Find.
• QR code: point your phone's camera at it and tap the link that appears.
• Personal invite: if your Manager has already added you, they can send you your own link. It signs you straight into your profile.

Groups are private, so you can't search for them. Ask your Manager for the link or code.

Claiming your profile

Your Manager may already have added you, with your ratings and past games. When you join:

• If your mobile number matches, Byb asks Is this you? Tap Yes, that's me to claim it.
• Otherwise, pick your name from the list of players nobody has claimed yet.
• If you're not on the list, tap I'm new to this group.

Tip Picked the wrong name? Your Manager can unlink it so you can claim the right one.

Being in more than one group

• Tap the group name at the top of Home to switch between your groups.
• Tap + Join or create a group in that list to add another.
• You have one account, and a separate player card and stats in each group.

Saying In or Out without an account

Your Manager can send a game link to the group chat. Anyone the Manager has added can open it, choose their name and tap I'm in or Can't make it, with no sign-up. Signing up adds the teams, voting and your stats.

Leaving a group

1. Open the Group tab.
2. Tap Leave and the group name, at the bottom, and confirm.

Your past results stay in the group's history. A Manager can add you back. Managers hand over the role before they can leave.
