Getting started

What Byb does

• Picks two fair teams, Bibs and Non-bibs, from everyone who says they're in.
• Runs the week: the next game, who's in, the waitlist, the teams, the score and the result.
• Keeps everyone's stats: a FIFA-style player card, the season table, match history and awards.
• Sorts the money: fines and subs, paid in cash, by bank transfer, or online by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal if your Manager turns it on.

Sign up or sign in

1. Open Byb in your phone's browser. There's nothing to download.
2. Tap Get started (or Sign in if you already have an account) and enter your email.
3. Tap Email me a sign-in code. We email you a 6-digit code.
4. Type the code into Byb and tap Sign in. There are no passwords.

Each code works once and lasts for 1 hour. If it doesn't arrive within a minute, check your spam folder, then tap send it again. You can ask for a new code once a minute.

Set up your profile

1. Enter your name. This is how you appear to your group.
2. Add your mobile number. It's optional, but it lets Byb find a profile your Manager may already have made for you, so you keep your games and stats. Other players never see it.
3. Choose your preferred position: Keeper, Defender, Midfield or Striker.
4. Add a photo if you like. It goes on your player card.
5. Tap Continue.

Add Byb to your home screen

• iPhone (Safari): tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen.
• Android (Chrome): tap the ⋮ menu, then Add to Home screen or Install app.

Tip Byb then opens full screen like an app, and you stay signed in.
